Ellie Woollard x Will Bird
"This photoshoot was for a project in which I was aiming to showcase many elements of queer culture. Named “The Rabbit Hole”, this ended up as a printed publication including a variety of imagery touching upon LGBTQ+ themes and issues. I decided to use Ellie Woollard’s collection as it instantly caught my eye when I first saw it, I love anything different, colourful and that I think would photograph well. Being a womenswear collection, I thought this would fit well if worn by male models, adding a subtle hint of queerness through the subverted styling. The garments worked as well as I’d hoped on camera, so much so that the images were noticed by Graduate Fashion Week and won their #tagyourtalent competition of the week". - Will Bird
Mini Mode London Kids Fashion Week
I had the pleasure of being invited to showcase my collection at LKFW Friday 15th-16th February 2019. This was an amazing opportunity being able to see my designs on teenagers was fantastic, seeing how others interpret my work is so interesting.
This opportunity has really opened up the idea of being able to work within childrenswear design.
